Spearman ISD is accepting applications for a Bus Driver.  The position is a part time position. Aproximately 10 hours a week; plus any extra curricular driving assignments.

 

The district pays $400 per month towards health insurance.  Applicant must undergo a FBI fingerprinting and criminal history check before they can begin employment. 

 

 

Primary Purpose:

Operate school bus to provide safe and orderly transportation of students on assigned route and to and from other designated locations. 

 

Qualifications:

    Clear and valid Texas commerial driver's license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements

    *The district will help with certification if you do not hold a CDL

 

     Must be 18 yrs. old

     Ability to pass US Dept of Transportation drug and alcohol test and annual physical exam

     Ability to complete required bus driver safety training

     Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

     Ability to use maps and GPS to follow routes and locate addresses

     Ability to manage student behavior

     Ability to communicate effectively with others

     Ability to operate bus
