Spearman ISD is in search of a College, Career, and Military Readiness and CTE Director for the 2025-2026 school year. The position will pay an additional $3,000 for Master degree. The district pays $400 per month towards applicants health insurance.
Primary Purpose:
Coordinate the CCMR program for administrators, educators, and district personnel. Collaborate with stakeholders to provide a quality based CCMR program that incresases college, career, and military readiness for SISD graduates. Leads and manages programs and strategies to include serving as a liaison to the community, institutions of higher education, and businesses.
Qualfications:
Education/Certification:
Master's degree
Valid Texas Administrative Certification
Valid Texas Teacher Certification
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to plan and organize effectively
Ability to problem solve and work collaboratively with others
Ability to build relationships with stake holders
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences
Experience:
Three (3) or more years as a classroom teacher
Demonstrated ability to utilize data for CCMR decision-making
Prior experience supporting campus CCMR goals to meet outcome bonus measures
Responsiblities/Duties:
- Update all dual credit and CTE Courses
- Supports secondary counselors in endeavors related to CCMR
- Collaborates with institutions of higher education to establish memorandums of understanding
- Directs improvement of college and career ready programs, career and technical education programs, services, and industry level certification programs.
- Articulates the district's vision and beliefs for CCMR
- Maintains accurate PEIMS numbers in the computer system for CTE and dual credit courses
- Assists in obtaining state and federal funds for CCMR education programs
- Assist with the development of grant applications and monitoring of awarded grants
- Recommends improvements that enhance the effectiency and effectiveness of CCMR programs
- Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of education rule, and the local board policy
